Checkers - Bladensburg

My Go-To location! ???Typically fresh food good serviceUnfortunately this occasion was completly different, I went on april 8th between 7-11pm, a Male by the name of Jose (Manager) attended me, and was completely Rude, unprofessional and all around nonchalant. He stated he's been w/ checkers for a long time and could do whatever thr f he wants, as I reacted and made a comment back.

This location varies from day to day. They are fairly quick. Make sure to check your bags and food before you leave. We ordered a mushroom Swiss burger. I had to wait which was not a problem but I was in a hurry. As I was pulling away we noticed the sandwhich was fish. I had already left the parking lot had to turn around and go back. When we pulled up they knew their mistake and apologized. I had no problem until I saw what they did. Evidently i got the people behind me order...the employees took the bag I handed them removed the fish sandwhich placed it in the correct bag and handed out the window to the other customer. I had to wait for them to finish my mushroom burger. I was just a little shocked that they took food from me and just gave it to another customer. They didn't even open the sandwhich to check. I mean I could have done anything with that and they would never know. Kinda scary. Haven't been back since and don't plan on it. It's disappointing because we don't have many fast food options and checkers is a nice treat sometimes. Parking lot is rough. The staff is friendly, just very young and inexperienced.

Annapolis Rd MD YES!!!! I travel all the way from Georgia Ave and Piney Branch NW reasons they have the happiness and most attentive staff. The food is not overly salted and greasey. Just to die for????Dietary restrictions: You can ask for no salt options

Restaurant online says restaurant closes at 1am on sunday 1/7/24 but they say they were closed this was at 12:40 am told me they close because they put all the food away that should begin at 1 am if you hungry and need to make a last minute late night rush for food dont rush here smh
