Au Petit Chalet - Blainville

One of my favorite places for brunch! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the staff is friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious.

Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee that you'll get a table, as they don't respect the order in which names are added. After waiting anxiously by the door for 45 minutes, we were ignored. When I asked about our status, they lied to us without offering any apologies and displayed nothing but contempt. I've been a customer of this restaurant for over four years since moving to the area... but I won't be coming back!

This might be the best breakfast I've ever had at a restaurant. I ordered the cabane à sucre, and it was incredible. The staff was also excellent. As a woman of color, I felt genuinely welcomed. I highly recommend this place for delicious food at great prices!

The creton seemed pre-frozen, as it was both watery and oddly dry, lacking in flavor. In general, expect to pay over $20 per person, plus tax and tip, for a rather underwhelming dining experience.

I noticed a comment about the women's restroom, so I decided to take a look for myself. The stall was slightly smaller than those at Costco, but it has floor-to-ceiling walls and a door, which gives it a cozier feel. I didn't find the size bothersome at all. If it's too tight for your preference, there is a larger option available. The restroom was immaculate, and my husband had the same favorable impression of the men's room.
