The Field Shelter Guesthouse Sanctuary

This restaurant is fantastic! Jojo and Nick, who run the place, are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Not only do they cook up amazing dishes, but they also rescue adorable animals. They have created a cozy and delightful atmosphere for guests. I haven't visited since they started taking in animals, but I had a wonderful experience before. I can only imagine it's even better now. Jojo is also an incredible chef, especially when it comes to baked goods.

We stayed at this restaurant for three nights at the end of our vacation and it was the perfect place to stay. We went on a tour with Jojo to meet the sheep and see the impressive facilities they have for spiritual purposes. The welcome cookies were delicious and everything we needed for our stay was provided. The accommodations were very comfortable with plenty of space to unwind, and there were vegan options available. It was a 10-minute walk to the local pub for those looking to indulge. We also received great recommendations for nearby attractions and overall had a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed one night at this wonderful b&b but cannot wait to come back. Cosy and stylish with so many little touches that make it special. Dog friendly too and Jojo was a great host. Breakfast was very delicious, and we loved the complimentary brownies too. We also ordered a lemon meringue pie from Jojo's home bakery which was gorgeous.

We stayed at this guest house for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The guest house is beautifully decorated with lots of vegan literature and works of art. It is very cozy and welcoming. Surrounded by magnificent landscape, we saw a variety of wildlife during our morning walks. However, the highlight of our stay was meeting Martin, Mia, Murray, Matilda, and Morag, their rescue sheep. We fell in love with everything about this place and can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

FULL CHEF's KISS! Jojo and Nick, who lead the Field Shelter, are some of the best people I've ever met. Not only do they do an amazing thing here and save cute creatures, they are super beautiful people who have created a really cozy and lovely environment for other people to stay. I haven't had much luck since the animals moved in, but I visited before and had a great experience, so can be sure it's even better now. Also, Jojo is an amazing cook, especially with baked goods.
