Duffer's Grill And Lounge - Blind Bay

We had a large group on Thursday Sept 21,2023. The service was outstanding by a lovely young lady, I can't remember her name but she did a wonderful job. The food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable. This is our new go to in our area. Shuswap Lake Estates Golf Club

We stopped here for a light meal. We didn't have a reservation but the hostess was able to give us a lovely seat in the dining room overlooking the golf course. It was a nice sunny day and we had a lovely table with a view. Our server Breaana (sp) was kept very busy with the tables in the dining room but she took very good care of us and even took the time to chat with us for awhile. The tables were well sanitized between each seating. The menu is somewhat limited but what we had was very good. My husband had the steak sandwich with mushrooms and it was very good. He said that it was just slightly overcooked but was still excellent so he did not sent it back. It came with a nice fresh salad, a massive basket of French fries and some onion rings. It was all very good. I had salt and pepper chicken wings and they were delicious. The wings were a decent size, they were very well seasoned, crispy and they were nice and moist. Some of the better chicken wings that I've had. My husband had a glass of wine with dinner. They do have a very limited selection of wine available. It is very good for a casual meal.

They had most of the restaurant shut down and were serving guests in part of the space. I can imagine this place has great ambiance when the fireplaces are on! I can also imagine it's a beautiful property in the summer. The food was ok but they do make one heck of a Caesar. This isn't a place you would come to eat delicious, unique food but for the great, friendly service or if you need a spot to eat after playing a round of golf. Our server, Lori, was lovely.

The service was quite good and the food was good, but not exceptional. We were there for wing Wednesday and it was good but the honey garlic wings were dipped in sauce, not cooked with it. Too sticky for my liking others had dry wings and I sampled a few, and they were very good.

Use to be very good couple years ago! But now horrible. Very expensive for okay food, horrible serves (waitress was very slow and never checked in), food took over a hour and there was only 2 other tables. Ordered a salad and it had the wrong dressing, told the waitress after 15 minutes of trying to get her attention. She Didn't bring a new one or a discount.. very disappointed and will not be returning
