Pier Seventeen - Blind River

Let’s start with the location: beautiful setting on the delta of Blind River. In most of the areas of the restaurant you have views to the river: the inside is full of windows or you can seat outside in the patio. The restaurant has been...renovated and it has an elegant yet simple atmosphere. There is a nice bar. Our server was attentive and efficient. The menu is small plus there are specials. We ordered two of the specials and both were very good, well prepared and tasty. The prime rib special came with a mini Yorkshire pudding and with perfectly steamed and seasoned fresh vegetables. The local fish special that was tender, juicy and flavorful. It came on a bed of basmati rice and with perfectly steamed and seasoned fresh vegetables. For dessert we had the strawberry shortcake: very different as it was with on a sconce pastry instead of cake. Very good!

According to TripAdvisor, this restaurant is open at 11 am instead of 4 pm. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant as I was not disappointed. I tried the fish tacos and they were delicious with very fresh ingredients. The restaurant, staff, and view were all positive experiences. I will definitely be returning in the future.

This restaurant was a highlight of our trip. After a 12-hour drive, we were in desperate need of a good meal. We stumbled upon the Pier Sports Bar and requested to sit outside on the deck. Not only were the waitresses all friendly and attractive, but they were also attentive. I found myself falling for Steph, but sadly she was already committed to her boyfriend, a lucky man from Blind River. We also met a wonderful couple who gave us tips on hunting and fishing. We left feeling inspired and ready for a week of adventure in the wilds of Canada.

We drove to blind river and had a chance on pier 17. we have never been in this area and have left us on trip advisor. what a great lunch! my man had wings and fries and I had fishtaks. to far. the best fish tacos I had. large baked squid and large swede and pico. would definitely recommend it. pure and clean and sitting on the water.

I dined at this restaurant while on a road trip through Blind River and was very impressed. The drinks were less than $6 each, and the appetizers were beautifully presented, delicious, and generously portioned. I may not be back in Blind River anytime soon, but I would definitely eat here again.
