Original Number 1 Chinese Kitchen

Being a native New Yorker, I was thrilled to find a Chinese restaurant in New Jersey that reminded me of home. However, my recent visit gave me a different impression of the place. While picking up my order, I mentioned to the cashier that I remembered when chicken wings and French fries used to cost $2.50. To my surprise, he responded sarcastically, saying, "Sorry, I wasn't born then," and repeated it with a serious attitude. Although I brushed it off, his lack of professionalism was disappointing. The food was decent for a quick meal, but the cashier's rudeness overshadowed the experience. As a business owner myself, I know how important professionalism is in all interactions. Employees are a direct representation of the business, and a certain level of service must be maintained. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet those expectations. As a customer, I understand the importance of matching energy, but there was no need for the cashier's attitude when I was simply making conversation. I'm sure they deal with a variety of customers, each with their own personality. A little kindness and positivity can go a long way.

I love the food and takeout service here. It’s clean and doesn’t smell terrible. I just don’t like the seating area, there are boxes everywhere. I understand that they probably don’t have the room but it’s aesthetically unpleasing. That’s real minor compared to all the good

Used to love this place, food was always fresh tasty and the prices were good. The last 4-5 times I’ve ordered the food has been abysmal. Vegetables taste un fresh food tastes stale etc. I kept trying since I had such good experiences prior but I give up. Lately it’s like whoever is cooking does not care. Unfresh food is over under seasoned and poorly cooked.

I bought half chicken and it was dry and hard bought vegetarian lomein no vegetables one small piece of broccoli
