Dairy Queen - Blooming Prairie

Good small town service. The ice cream looked exactly like the picture. Couldn't have been better.

We have been to this location for years, but in the last couple months we have learned that we have to check our food before we leave the drive-thru because something is wrong. Well tonight we decided to go and they had a new girl working the drive-thruand she was not understanding our order. We ordered a 6-piece chicken strip basket with ranch instead of gravy and a 4-piecesauced and tossed chicken strip basket which came with gravy. I was then charged for the ranch which I never was before and wewere charged for the barbeque sauce that came on the sauced and tossed basket as a separate sauce. When we brought this to thenew girls attention she stated that because we were getting the ranch that we were being charged for it, but that we were thennot going to get the gravy that originally came with the basket. I then ask why we 're getting charged for the barbeque sauce andshe just shrugs her shoulders and tells me that there is a new owner. Frustrated at this point I ask for her manager who shedoes get and tell him the situation and he says we have a new girl working the drive-thru and quite frankly she does not knowwhat she is doing which I found very unprofessional of him to say about one of his employees. Eventually we get a refund forthe ranch and for the sauce and can leave. But because of this fiasco we didn 't think to check to see if we got all of our food.We do not live in town, so when we are halfway home my boyfriend asks if we got all of our food and lo and behold we got 2 fourpiece meals when I was charged for a 6-piece and a 4-piece. This is very frustrating because the whole experience was terribleand unprofessional and now I feel as though I have been robbed because I paid for food and did not get all of it.

We arrived with a large group and were pleasantly surprised by how well the restaurant handled us. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly.

The staff appeared to be friendly during my visit. I went through the drive-thru and ordered the flamethrower burger. I'm not sure why this Dairy Queen no longer includes the "diaper" with the burger, but it made for a quite messy meal. The fries were around room temperature, and considering the wait time, they should have been closer to fresh. Despite this experience not being perfect, I would still consider visiting again.

I am really enjoying the recent updates to the menu, which now features a great variety of options at surprisingly good prices! The staff is friendly, patient, and professional. Lately, my orders have been accurate at this location, which is a significant improvement. In the past, I often had to double-check my order before leaving because something was usually wrong. The food has been tasting much better recently, with fresh vegetables and ample portions. I've also noticed that the cups, sandwich boxes, kids' meal bags, and other packaging are of higher quality and look nicer now. Overall, I am very pleased with this location lately!
