The Orbit Room - Bloomington

This place was amazing and loved the ambience!! They had a variety of beers to choose from and had a great experience, especially with Philip assisting with our choices!! The food was fabulous and the Tex mex or the chicken wrap is a must try!! Although it was a bit expensive, would visit for the next social gathering!!

Passing through Bloomington, we stopped at The Tap to get a bite to eat and a couple of beers with our dog. They were super friendly and seated us on the patio where we had a great view of the whole corner. Our waiter was very attentive and even got our dog a bowl of water without us asking, which was nice of him. My wife got a flight of beer, I got a pint of Taptoberfest, and we shared an order of the fries with four delicious dipping sauces. I got two filet sliders with fries that ended up being quite tasty and just the right amount of food I needed. Overall, we enjoyed dining and drinking here, and we would definitely stop here again when in Bloomington.

Delightful hipster bar curiously located downstairs from the square. I always feel like I'm walking into a speakeasy. So happy to visit again for the first time since the pandemic began, so happy that they weathered the storm.Vegetarian options: The menu is small, heavy focus on creative hot dogs and snacks. Three types of vegan hot dogs available.Kid friendliness: I think of this place as a bar, but apparently now they are all ages until 8pm ... Or something. Check on the time of it matters to you, but I love that they are able to welcome all ages some of the time. I'll have to take my 7 year old to get a hot dog some time. :

Looked for a hot dog place due to…cravings. As a former chef, I can’t tell you how amazing the food is here. I had the Cougar hotdog (vegan chili, pan seared cheese curds, horseradish aioli) and broccoli salad (dates and pickled onion). You can literally taste the love in the food. Everything made in house except for the protein and buns of course. Ain’t nobody got time for that Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free options

Nice place for live music. Fun folks. Food was just a snack for me and really good. Fair prices. Small space we liked. Return trip coming for us.
