China Star - Bloomington

Ordered for exit (I don't think they are dining at this moment covid era). Sweet acid chicken was good. The chicken was tender and freshly delicious. Orange chicken was good in my book. I had better. Beef broccoli was good. The Broccoli was so soft and delicate. The sauce was good, not exaggerated. I think that's the best beef broccoli I've ever tasted.

I keep hearing the food here is great but when i got to the drive thru i didnt notice any, there wasnt even people there. Just two chase atms, but the machines are pretty nice so ill give em that. Too bad i left the drive thru hungry

For the first time with China Star last night and I am so impressed!! Got General Tso's chicken, pork roasted rice, crab ringoon, and a egg roll all for like $11! And it was delicious that could be my new way to the Chinese restaurant

Work nearby and eat here often. The quality is typical of this type of setup in a stripe mall. Get General Tso. Advertized as hot and spicy, but only bland and tasteless brown sauce. Previously very good and spicy, but taste went away recently. They say everything freshly made to order, but this is just the heating and stirring in the wok. Meat and chicken are just warmed up when you order. If you are looking for fast, reasonable American Chinese cuisine, this is the place for you. They're looking for authentic Chinese elsewhere.

China Star get a 4 star review 2 for the only restaurant serving vegetable rolls (not spring rolls) and 2 more for hot, crispy, great tasting egg rolls! Not to mention that it smells like good food when you pick up your order. I'll work there again.
