Feedback gevenI made a reservation on Open Table, but when we arrived we found that it was closed for renovations. :
Horrible service. Was there for our 8 year olds birthday, the chef seemed less than enthusiastic to be there, didn’t really put on a show for the kids. No beer or liquor due to remodeling, would have been nice to know before making reservations . Will never go back to this Osaka again.
This was the worst experience we’ve ever had there. It was DIRTY. And there was no show.
The overall value has diminished. While prices remain on the higher side, the quality of both the food and service is decreasing.
We know Osaka to offer an exciting dining experience. However, due to COVID-19, it seems to have lost some of its enthusiasm. Albeit, we came for lunch at noon on a Saturday, but they were still cleaning the floors; and the smell of bleach was in the air. Hibachi grill was the plan and chicken was cooked to the dry side; however, others enjoyed the steak, shrimp, lobster, fried rice, noodles, and vegetables. Value of the food and the experience versus the prices was not what I would call value. I believe I was the only one disappointed of 8 guest, so I pretty much kept my mouth shut. No one else complained, but they also did not need to pay the bill.
