The Butcher's Smokehouse - Bloomington

I had a very negative experience at this restaurant. When I arrived for my interview, I parked my electric bike quietly near the entrance. A manager abruptly told me to move it outside. I was just trying to explain that I was there for an interview and asked if there was a better place to park if I ended up working there. Before I could even finish my sentence, he yelled at me to leave. It felt very unwelcoming. I managed to dodge a bullet there, and I hope you can too.

We moved from Bloomington about a month ago and we really miss shopping at Butcher’s Block. Even during the busiest times, the staff were always courteous, friendly, and willing to help. The quality of the meats, fish, and other products was consistently outstanding. I really miss being able to shop there.

The Butcher's Block is undoubtedly the finest spot in Bloomington for premium meats, seafood, and a variety of other products. I'm consistently amazed by the freshness of everything they offer! Alongside the exceptional quality and range, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Every visit is a delightful experience, so I highly recommend paying them a visit.

I have been to Butcher's Block many times. I would highly recommend this establishment for catering and lunch.Countless times, Butcher's Block has helped me in a pinch for catering, and every time it has been excellent. Service is always consistent and efficient. The variety of options when it comes to catering should not go unmentioned.They also have a deli that serves sandwiches and an incredibly cheap and delicious pulled pork sandwich. Seriously, don't underestimate the Butcher's Block as a viable spot to grab lunch.

Got the pickled okra it was delicious and well worth the price. It had a nice kick to it and it reminds me of the okra from Louisiana where I once grew up. Also the guy who was checking me out was very nice and assisted me a lot. He also wrapped up the okra for me.
