Blowing Rock Grill Cheese Cafe

This place is a true hidden gem! Everything was simple yet absolutely delicious, and it was wonderful to discover a laid-back spot away from the crowds where we could enjoy our lunch outside in the fresh air! I ordered the Greek sandwich, and my husband opted for the American. The Greek was incredibly tasty, with the feta and olives creating a delightful combination that delivered a salty, meaty flavor. The American was a classic grilled cheese, but done to perfection. The bread was amazing—crispy and toasted just right, holding up beautifully against the warm, gooey filling without falling apart. The charming decorations and little flag accents were a delightful touch—they added such a cute vibe! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

Incredible sandwiches! Whenever we visit Blowing Rock, my son always insists on having his favorite grilled cheese sandwich. The panini sandwiches are also fantastic for those looking for something heartier. The outdoor seating area is pleasant, and the food is truly great!

This small café, tucked away in a charming mall with an outdoor seating area, unfortunately fell short of my expectations. A menu entirely focused on grilled cheese sandwiches sounds enticing, right? Well, in this case, it didn’t deliver. While the options appeared fun on the menu, the flavors didn't live up to the hype. My girlfriend and I ordered the Italian Grilled Cheese, but we were left feeling disappointed. The cheese wasn’t melted, the bread was a bit tough, and overall, the sandwiches didn't justify their price. It took about 12 minutes for our food to arrive (my girlfriend likes to time things for reasons I can't quite understand), and we were the only customers there at the time. Although the staff was very friendly, the experience didn’t match up to some of the other restaurants in the area.

This is an excellent outdoor cafe, in an absolutely beautiful area of Blowing Rock. A peaceful patio to eat on, by a gorgeous flower garden and fountain, it's an ideal setting. The food is absolutely top notch, and the staff are so nice everytime, with on point service. 12/10 would recommend this to any of my cheese loving friends!!!!! Can't wait for my next bite!

Delicious, had the french version : grilled brie w fig spread. Will be back to try other offerings. Also, was much more convenient than waiting for a restaurant table or takeout as we walked around town. It 's peak leaf viewing season, so main street is crowded w tourists right now.
