Town Tavern Blowing Rock

Apart from some mysterious deficiencies in the ability of our server to take care of us and the fact that we felt that we end up getting the rush of the bum, I think my wife and I both liked our experience in the city of Tavern. My burger was very good and I like places that offer not only the other choices of sites but also Tater darts. My wife was happy with her slides, but she was pretty fast after a salad and one of the sliders left half of the other sliders and well over half of her broken pumice in her basket at the end. We only wish that the overall experience we had with our server would have remained as positive as it began. Town Tavern would probably have got a better rating from us, that would have been the case.

Really good wings. You even have Carolina Reaper! The Vulcan castle is excellent. The salads are good. Steak sandwich is good. The Ruck chicken sandwich was also good. The frits and onion rings are good. They're just on the ground when they're really busy, it takes too long to get the food out. The service was decent.

Had the fish sandwich with onion rings for lunch. It was great fish was perfectly cooked. The dough on fish and onion rings was very delicious and not much.

Good food, great location, cool bar and fun atmosphere. It took a while to get refills and check.

Awesome little tavern in Blowing Rock. Delicious, simple food at a good price and great atmosphere. Nice place to watch a game and have some drinks/beers.
