Every time I go to pick up a quick lunch she has a helpful comment to go with it. She honestly makes me happy to go there! I genuinely enjoy people who give there best at work and she is the sweetest.
Good cheap gas and biased policies that are NOT posted. Apparently you are allowed to wear a mask and hat, or beanie or even a bandana inside of the gas station but a hooded sweatshirt is a problem. Management confirmed the policy. They also informed me that the policy was created by security and not posted anywhere on the gas station. As a customer and person of color I feel like it was completely inappropriate for a cashier to yell, you can't wear that in here, over a crowd of people. When I had no clue there was a dress code, I will happily continue to refuse until a policy is posted.
As far as I know, The Play Station in Blue Lake Bear River in Loleta are the least expensive places to purchase gas in Humboldt County. At least .50 cents less per gallon of gas (possibly more) than any other gas station in Humboldt County including Costco Renner. The gas station is spacious, always clean well stocked. It has at least 8 gas pumps. Sometimes all pumps are full, therefore you may have to wait for one to be available but it doesn 't take long. You have the choice of paying at the pump with a card or going inside to pay via cash or card. Employees are helpful friendly. The convenience store is always clean, neat, organized well stocked with a good variety of easy to cook or prepare foods, snack foods, hot cold deli items, serve yourself coffee, soda 's slushies, fresh pastry 's, basic condiments good selection of beverages. They sell various personal hygiene items, over the counter medications first aid items, cleaning supplies, paper products, basic camping supplies, some reading writing materials, basic car maintenance or quick repair items, a few locally made souvenirs, sunglasses, T-shirts, flip-flops, hats, gloves, etc. Restrooms are always clean well supplied. Outside there is a covered area with bus your own tables chairs where you can sit to eat, relax or visit. Next to the building is an area to walk around, take a break get some fresh air. As far as a gas station, pit stop, decent quick easy food convenience store goes, The Play Station is one of the nicest.
Cheap gas from blue lake rancheria The Blue Lake Rancheria is a federally recognized Native American tribe in northwestern California, near the cities of Eureka and Arcata, five miles inland from the Pacific Coast, along California Highway 299. Within the aboriginal territory of the Wiyot people, the Blue Lake Rancheria was founded in 1908 as a ‘refuge for homeless Indians.’ The Tribe was terminated in 1958, and then reinstated to federal recognition status in 1983. Since then, the Tribe has made a concerted effort to rebuild. Today, the Tribe has 100 acres of land in trust and thriving economic enterprises that support hundreds of local jobs, government operations and programs, economic diversification, resilience and sustainability efforts, environmental protection, and a wide array of social services.
For a casino, this place isn’t maintained well; There’s no squeegees and the pumps never print receipts. The slot machines inside are always working though
