From Texas traveling around for work so happy to have found Mercier… We had a blast picking apples, Mercier was set up for fall ! Nice photo ops and now pumpkins of all kinds ! We brought home a few other things like apple pies and fritter and obviously apples we hand picked !!! As well as non alc cider (peach and regular) shout out to Phil for the tasting and information of the farm! blown away at all the goodies to chose from. Would make a great spot for any kind of pictures family/ couple If you’re visiting and want breakfast the bakery has got you covered we had mountain breakfast and it came with apple jelly as well, delicious. Chicken biscuit on the menu and a few other things ! Really enjoyed observing everyone at work here such a wonderful operation and thanks for all you guys do to keep this place up and running ! A beautiful spot to stop and load up on everything apple goodies(honeys, jams, syrups and so much more).. did I mention wines and ciders !? enjoy the blue ridge mountain air, and meet some really wonderful people ! Managed to get some of their delicious apple fritters today and that's a WIN!!
Apple picking towards the beginning of the season is great. Last year, we went towards the end and only had one choice of apples. Early on, you get a variety
If you like apples, you have to stop here. There are many places advertised in the area, but so far I think this one is the best. Their drinks and snacks are delicious! The employees are helping in offering samples and making selections. Everything about the experience was enjoyable.
This place was great. Very busy on the holiday weekend. Everything served here is prepared fresh on site with their own grown produce. We bought a lot from the bakery and I got a fresh strawberry slush. The slush is made with fresh pick strawberries. There was a lady cutting them up at the counter! We ate at the Cafe which was delicious. We ordered the Ruben with loaded potato salad. Went on a tractor tour for $5!
