Burgers Shakes Cream - Blue Ridge

I've been a patron of this restaurant since 1975, and sadly, it hasn't changed or improved at all over the years. While the staff is friendly and the food is decent, the overall cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The ceiling tiles are dirty and stained, almost as if something is growing on them. There's a large piece of plywood leaning against the counter, which is grimy and being used for announcements instead of being properly fixed. The restroom situation is even more concerning; you have to squeeze through the door because they’re storing an ice cream or milkshake machine inside, which is quite unappealing in that environment. The owner really needs to invest in some renovations and a deep cleaning. It's truly disappointing to see.

The staff was unwelcoming, the restaurant lacked cleanliness, and there were no masks being worn by anyone.

"While the restaurant has an old and slightly dingy look that harks back to the 60s or 70s, that's precisely what I was expecting and hoping for. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. I genuinely appreciate places like this and wouldn't want any changes, even though some might suggest modernizing it."
