Sublime Roots - Blue Ridge

I am in love with this cafe. It was exactly the type of restaurant that Blue Ridge needed. It serves breakfast and lunch which is hard to find in this area. The food is excellent quality and the staff have a thoughtful approach to your dining experience. They care about their employees and I have yet to try anything there that wasn’t amazing. Supportive and family friendly also! Highly recommend again and again

This is a unique coffee and sandwich shop with some breakfast items and cool drinks. They also sell uniquely flavored donuts that must be pretty good because they were already sold out when we got there around 10am. They said they are usually sold out of donuts in the first 30 minutes after opening. I never understand why places don't make more of an item when they know they sell out quickly. We ordered the Classic breakfast and the smoked trout lox toast, and lavender lemonade. The food was good, but super pricey. I was expecting at least two pieces of toast for $10.50. That's pretty high for one little piece of toast. I would come back to try something else, but I don't think the toast was worth what I paid. It's also a bummer that this place is closed on Sundays, especially since weekends are when visitors are more likely to be in town. I wanted to try to get a donut the next morning, but they don't reopen until Tuesday. Oh well.

This place is a cool breeze with wonderful food music. We had an Everything Avocado, Breakfast plate, mocha and a latte. It was all delicious! Moe was super nice and we loved what they have; books, handmade soap, locally craft items and cute tops! Come eat, shop and support the locals

Coffee, lattes here are superb. Will return just for that. The breakfast is good, no doubt they source from quality ingredients. But it cost me $80 to feed a family of four, which for breakfast is extremely rare for a counter service establishment. And I honestly felt a chill in the air when I provided a 15% tip, for counter service, as their recommended tip options ranged from 18% up to 25%. Did was awesome, but know what you are, you're a walk up counter service establishment.

A friend took us to Sublime Roots for lunch. They were out of several items which constrained our options a bit but not terrible. We thought the food was very good and the environment was fun. We would definitely go again.
