It is our go to place for a brunch before Sympony afternoon performances. In the past we have taken new friends here to introduce them to the Kemper and Cafe Sebastienne. All of them have shared that they also have returned for special luncheons or brunches.
The food was amazing as always, but the service this visit was very disappointing. Overall, not enjoyable so even though the food and setting is fabulous, so I am unlikely to return soon.
We went to celebrate Mother's Day at Café Sebastienne. It is a beautiful restaurant with all the art work. The restaurant was busy and service was slow. I loved my roasted potato hash and would get it again.
The food was upscale and superior to most restaurants in town. I had the potato hash with sunny side up eggs and compared to other breakfasts around town my meal was above the rest. All staff were attentive, graceful, friendly and welcoming.
Located inside the Kemper Museum, Cafe Sebastienne has always been a very special place for lunch. They recently have a new chef, who has brought a new menu. Our lunch, which was black bean soup and the chicken salad sandwich, was delicious.
