Feedback gevenThe service was excellent. The food was great too. We had Cod and Brick Chicken. Both meals were very tasty and cooked perfectly. It was not crowded and the surroundings were very nice. A return trip is definitely in the future.
We had reservations for mother's day. I ordered the Steak Frites. The hibiscus margaritas were good. Our server was great. He even offered a recommendation of mac cheese for my picky 7-year old daughter (as they don't offer a kids menu). Ambience was lovely. I plan to go back for happy hour. Our server also recommended we come back obmn Friday for live music to hear Rita McFadden.
We visit quite a few restaurants in the KC area. We do it with a few friends just to check different places out! The quality of food is subpar for the price point. We were really excited to try this place but we were let down! The atmosphere was great and so was the service but we will not be recommending or coming back!
This is our first time going here with a group of friends. We have been too many restaurants in Kansas City and this was by far the most expensive and worst one. The wedge wasn’t even a wedge the fillet seemed like a roast that wasn’t cooked right no flavor mashed potatoes had no flavor macaroni and cheese had no flavor and the pork chop was even worse. Nothing I couldn’t of made better at home. Drinks were over priced for what they were atmosphere is nice and the waitress was good and we let her know how everything was And we wouldn’t be back ever
Ambassador Hotels did a great job in this historic bank. I saw the restaurant on line and wanted to experience it. The decor is fabulous and had cocktails in the lounge area with high back fabric couches and comfortable chairs just in front of the restaurant. Added bonus on Friday was a live jazz trio. So fun to listen to. The restaurant is set in the lobby of the bank and it was fun to see the teller stations as a bar. The service was great. After cocktails asked for a table. I had the filet and asked for medium rare but came out medium to medium well. The waiter said cut into the center and I did, and it was medium. Unfortunately, at this time they have temporary chefs, so I opted not to return the steak and eat as is. The flavor was very good along with the potatoes and broccolini.
