Thistle Hut - Boat Harbour

My sister and I had lunch today at The Thistle Hut, such a warm and inviting atmosphere! We had the falafel wraps for lunch and they were awesome! Coffee was superb. Highly recommend to take the time out and call in.

A few of us just had coffee and lovely fresh cake at the Thistle Hut. A lovely quaint, quirky little eating place on the NW Coast, on the Highway to Sisters Beach. Good food from full tasty meals to snacks, cakes and slices a nice varied menu inside a gorgeous little hut with many interesting and comforting items from the past and surrounded by a beautiful orchard. Kerry, Tracey and Izzy look after us really well and we're already planning our return trip. We booked ahead as it gets so busy, good food for the body and the Soul.

I love this little place! The owners are so welcoming, coffee is great, the food is home cooked and high quality. The best Haloumi burgers!

This is the Big Breakfast. Double yolker eggs, grass fed bacon, real mushrooms, the hugest tomato and home made kimchi. Real kimchi, spicy, hot and good for the tummy. Thanks Kerry and Tracey. Best of the best.

Fabulous coffee and food that’s made with love! We were so impressed with the Thistle Hut. The haloumi rolls are delicious and made with quality local produce the brownies are to die for!! Top that off with friendly service and a beautiful building and you’re onto a winner ! Will be back.
