Feedback gevenThe Scottish salmon with mustard was outstanding, and the house-made fettuccine Alfredo is among the top three I’ve ever tasted. To top it all off, the chocolate cassata cake was the perfect conclusion to our meal. Thank you, Arturos, and a big thank you to Lou! I can’t wait to return!
I made a reservation through OpenTable and then called the restaurant to confirm that they had outdoor seating available for us, which they assured me they did. After a 20-minute drive, we arrived only to be told that there was no outdoor seating available. Strangely, we could see two empty tables outside (as shown in the photo). They offered us a table inside their seemingly empty dining room, but I was uncomfortable with that. As a childhood leukemia survivor with several autoimmune conditions, I wore an N95 mask, and the risk of getting sick was not worth it for me. When I inquired about the wait for outdoor seating, they once again pointed to the empty dining room. When I declined, they blamed me for making my reservation late. At that point, we decided to leave. The hostess should not have accepted my reservation if they couldn’t accommodate us outside. Perhaps they didn’t want us there because of how we looked. It’s disappointing to drive 40 minutes round-trip just to leave without having dinner, especially after verifying the seating situation over the phone. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed me for the misunderstanding. If they had just told me on the phone that they couldn’t accommodate us, we could have chosen to try another night. However, I’m not inclined to return. They embarrassed me and shifted the blame without even offering an apology.
My in-laws recently hosted a party here for around 30 guests, and everything was absolutely perfect! The owner paid attention to every detail, from the decor to the food, the service, and even the piano player they requested. The menu was customized with a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious! The servers were extremely professional. I've been talking about the party ever since and can’t wait to come back for dinner the next time we’re in the area.
This was my first time at this restaurant for a family celebration. I was not impressed with one of the staff members who was an elderly gentleman who was very clumsy and abrupt. The food was very good overall except for when ordering filet mignon, the cooks had a very difficult time getting the right level of tenderness. Two of my family members had to return their fillet mignon because it was either too rare or too well done. Another family member had to return their Snapper fish because it really smelt fishy. The salad was drenched with dressing. They could do better considering it?s supposed to be a very upscale restaurant. I liked the fact that the pasta and bread was homemade. Use caution on what you order.
We (2) arrived at 6 pm on a Saturday without a reservation and were seated within 2 mins. The interior design was suitable for fine dining such as a nice date or family dinner and featured different rooms for events. The servers were very punctual and polite. The assorted bread starter was freshly made. Our entrees arrived just as we finished the bread starter. We were very satisfied with our dishes (truffle fettuccini and cannelloni). The quality of the pasta was excellent and also freshly made. The main entrees themselves were filling. I give this place 5 stars for the quality of the environment, servers, entrees, and punctuality.
