Manhattan Joe's Pizzeria - Boca Raton

The restaurant has really declined. The flavors are missing, and the staff is terrible. I called in to order a well-made cake for dining in, and my order was confirmed on the ticket. However, my pizza was ready in just 5-10 minutes, even though I had already paid and they knew I was there. When the pizza arrived, it was undercooked. I took it back to have it put in the oven again, and one of the staff members was quite disrespectful, while another offered to cook it longer. The rude employee even tried to sneak past me. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. The pizza itself was tasteless, whereas it used to be really good here. There are so many better options available now.

If you want to pay for what you actually ordered, I recommend avoiding this place. I used to visit once a week for a midday slice, but I won't be returning after today. The employee they have working now completely mishandled my order and was unresponsive to my concerns. When I mentioned my order for meatballs, he had already discarded them, and when I clarified that I wanted a pepperoni slice and an order of meatballs, he mistakenly put together two pepperoni slices instead. When I pointed out the error, he dismissed me rudely and instructed the female employee to give me one pepperoni slice and one meatball slice.

That’s the largest pizza I’ve ever eaten! They import the dough from New York. The sauce is fantastic, and the balance between the sauce and cheese is just right. I met Joe while I was there, and I’m considering returning before my trip. This morning, I woke up craving another slice! I'm thankful I don’t live too close by.

People who eat here don't know or appreciate NYC-style pizza. I'm from NYC and just came back from a trip to NYC and that's NOT it. I still want real NY pizza. Anyway, I had a short lunch break. They went to the place and they had a nasty looking pizza sitting on the counter outside in the open. I asked about a cheese and what I got was a slice with a pepper chocolate. Hygiene in this place is something to ask. They touched everything around him, fixed his glasses and grabbed my cold pizza with his hand and shot them in the oven. Not sure if he was distracted or what, but I had to remind him that I didn't pay for my order. And I guess they can't afford? Boxes. I went out there with cheap paper sheets covering my fat overpriced slices of pizza. I ate two bites, then threw it out.

This is the fourth time Manhattan Joe?s in Boca, Raton got my order wrong on top of that I had to wait an additional half an hour thus my entire order is cold well my entire wrong order is cold! I?m a vegetarian I requested them no meat toppings! guess what I had received Sausage toppings! Unfortunately, i?m so hungry I?m removing the toppings but I can still taste the meat within the bread!
