Payathai - Boca Raton

The staff is incredibly friendly and nice, but the service was a bit slow. The sushi was decent, but I wouldn't choose this place if I was in the mood for sushi specifically. I prefer raw fish, and the selections were pretty standard with no standout options—mostly rolls and only a la carte sashimi. We came with a group, and one person ordered the calamari; unfortunately, that was the only dish we didn’t enjoy. The batter and the color were off. The ramen was quite good—better than many local spots—though it was a bit sweeter than I prefer. Overall, I’ll definitely be back for the Thai food.

I recently visited a brand new Japanese/Sushi Thai restaurant and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the sashimi deluxe, which came with 16 pieces of four different types of fish – all incredibly fresh. The meal also included a choice of salad or soup, both of which were delicious. Highly recommend!
