The Sea Monkey - Bocas del Toro

The Sea Monkey environment and staff truly made our trip to Bocas del Toro/Bastimentos the wonderful time that it was. We had only planned to stay a couple of days, and ended up staying a whole week at Sea Monkey. The rooms are beautiful, with great amenities and cleanliness, and they have one of the best views on the island. The food and drinks at the restaurant is one of the shining stars of Basti as well, and worth the trip over for even if you don't stay the night. And of course the owners and staff are truly the reason all of this works so well in harmony, they are amazing people. I am so grateful to have found this gem. I've traveled many places in the world, and this might just be one I will have to come back to.

Can we get 10 star ratings for The Sea Monkey?! Everything was amazing. The bungalow begs for you to be calm and just breathe. The food at the restaurant is the best food we have had in our travels...the staff at the restaurant are equally as good. The tours available are a must!! Ryan and Stacey are knowledgeable of the area and a great resource and wealth of knowledge! My husband and I came here as guests and left as friends. Highly recommended!

After dining out for 2 weeks straight in Panama this was best meal we've had. They do a great breakfast and even better dinner! If you're in bocas, don't miss out.

I just returned from Bastimentos, had an outstanding stay at the SeaMonkey. From the planning stages, Stacy was incredibly helpful with arranging our stay. Once we got here Ryan went out of his way to make sure our stay was fantastic. The food is amazing, I think they have the best food on the island, and there are some really good restaurants in Old town. Ryan was a great resource for things to see and do while there. Can't wait to go back!
