I've been there for her annual melt event every year for the past 6-8 years, and it's consistently very good. The meal is simple, featuring potato salad (which is vegetarian), bratwurst, broth, and pre-fried melting cheese. They typically draw in some locals, and people often sit for three hours. While it’s a bit pricey for a simple meal, it’s not unreasonable. For about $20, you get the meal, a beer, tax, and tip included. On other days, the burgers are excellent, and the beer is always served cold.

I've been attending their annual smelt fry for the past 6 to 8 years, and it's usually quite enjoyable. The meal is simple, featuring potato salad (which is very good), baked beans, bread, and pre-battered smelt. They tend to attract a large crowd of locals, with only a few seats available over the span of three hours. While it is a bit pricey for such a straightforward meal, it's not too bad—$20 covers the meal, a beer, tax, and tip. On other days, the burgers are excellent, and the beer is always served cold.
