Baba Family Restaurant - Bodh Gaja

I was so happy with my dinner! I never leave criticisms, but Baba-ji deserves praise. He's such a nice guy and the food is just amazing. Great Indian food at a perfect price.

I ordered the Baba Special with no onions and lots of cheese. It was delicious! I think the owner came out to see who could finish such a large plate.

Why does it no longer have reviews? A great restaurant. I came to Bodhgaya in low season, many restaurant or temples are closed, but this is. Great food, near the center, AC, quite cheap. The food must be very fresh because I have a weak stomach, but there is no problem here. Come on!

I waited for thirty minutes for a sandwich, only to receive one made with stale bread that was absolutely horrible. Since there were no other options available, I tried dinner as well. The food was extremely bad and the service was very poor, with no apology given for the poor quality of the meal. Not recommended.

I came for lunch twice here, as it is located in close proximity, to Maha Bodhi temple. Though it is a small cafe, still it has a large menu, with potential to serve you food, quick, tasty and healthy. Also, the staff is very friendly....Try Egg fried rice and Mutton Curry.
