Super little pub. Very warm and friendly staff and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We had a lovely meal, the food was hot and delicious. I had the soup of the day (carrot and lentil) which must be the best that I've ever tasted. My son had the creamy mushrooms, which were excellent, as was my husband's choice of the chilli loaded chips. We will definitely be coming back.

Pretty wonderful stuffed to the gunwales but still found room for us. Another pair of customers came outside to get us to share their table inside as it was cold out there. Never met b4 but clearly typical of the clientele. You can't beat that really, can you! Food was pretty good too much Price per person: £10–20
