Ha Long Restaurant - Böblingen

I don't know if the same owners still run the restaurant, but we were today due to many recommended and all the positive reviews there and I have to say I was shocked. we were the only guests, which was already significant. the hot pot buffet there was not. the chef brought a selection after his taste to the table and that was by far not the offer you can see on the many great photos. then the shock, all flesh, fish and garnel were put to us frozen before the nose. the sweet as e.g. brokkoli was old and already gray yellowish stained. the salate unwashed. after the suppe was largely boiled/evaporated, it was not poured as usual, the floor was already burning and started to stink. we had to take care of it ourselves. the service didn't really care for us and also spoke only broken German! ambiente dissuasive, deko still from christmas and not necessarily super clean. what should I say? recommended? not definitiw! very pity!

Top eating, very nice and attentive staff. I am thrilled by the Vietnamese diners, price is also ok. happy to come back.

New owners, no conveyor but after reservation there is still the "hot pot". in a tasty meat broth you can cook meat, vegetables, fish and garnel yourself ready. the ingredients noodles, rice and dips are plentiful.In Thai and Malaysia there are finer variants, overall it is now also a simple Thai restaurant with cheap and rich foods and one too extensive menu as you know from the snack. the service was very friendly and very striving. the local was almost empty. by the way, the opening times from the internet are no longer correct and are not yet corrected. with bank cards like ec card or credit cards you cannot pay for the time.

I have never hat a Vietnamese hot pot so my husband and I entered with no clue. The staff wasted no time in showing us exactly what we are supposed to do. We had kangaroo, beef, chicken, shrimp, clams, etc..The buffet was excellent along with the different sauces and noodles. We were amazed enough that we decided this is the place to take people for dinner with us. Food was delicious. We plan to return many times.
