Adorable courtyard setting, away from noise and bustle from street vendors. Excellent food, with very large portions and quality service. Divides an excellent Bachue salad with our table of 4. We wanted to eat in La Puerta Falsa when we realized that they really did not have room for our party of 17. We saw La Sociedad next door and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was good and the service was great. A big pit stop during our busy day tours el centro de Bogota.

We randomly chose La Sociedad when we walked through the door into their beautiful courtyard. It is located near Plaza Bolivar in the middle of a street with colonial architecture. It was a great outdoor experience to dine and explore the flowers in the courtyard. The food was good. I ordered the hot chocolate with cheese that it is supposedly popular in Bogota; It was okay, but I wasn't impressed. I would definitely recommend La Sociedad for lunch!

If you are going to spend anytime in Bogota, we were told that we had to go to La Canderlaria. We snuck into this restaurant to avoid the rain and was first struck by the beautiful building and courtyard. There was an entire page of...traditional Columbian food that was tasty and rich with local ingredients.
