My wife struggled a little bit with him telling that we did not know that restaurant and we wanted arabian food. He remained firm and finally we followed him. What a very nice surprise, deco is minimal but comfortable, service is very good and the most important, the menu is full of surprises. Restaurant is addressed to to chef interpretations of Colombian food, so there are mainly there are traditional dishes with chef nuances or author dishes with Colombian ingredients.Just try the bondiola, squid inked rice and others. Don't forget to try the blackberries tea or the tamarind / coconut juice. You wont regret it.
We decided to go here on a whim. Best decision. The inside itself was very aesthetically pleasing. Very nice ambiance. I had the pollo sudado (delicious), and my friend had an amazing pork dish whose name I'm forgetting but it had plantains as well. The whole menu looked awesome and it featured foods from around Colombia. Highlight of the meal though was my juice. A mix of watermelon, strawberry and mandarin. **** it was seriously the best juice I have ever tasted. Would go back solely for the juice.
I had the beef shank and a friend the trout sausage, Both used unusual ingredience but the result was wonderful. It's a treat to eat creative approaches to traditional food, The pineapple mint juice was refreshing and not too sweet. The service was attentive and the staff very knowledgeable. The atmosphere was modern yet inviting.
I was expecting much more from this restaurant... It was recommended to be good buy it was actually awful. We were 12 people and only two people were satisfied with their meals. Dry meats, hart to eat, and in my particular case the most boring salad ever. It said on the menu it had quinoa, palm harts, and a sauce of sour cream with eggplant among other things and well it was just lettuce with tons of capsicum and just a tiny amount of the other ingredients. Terrible. The waiter also forgot someone's meal, so this person had to wait and eat after everyone had finished.Really bad experience. I'll never come back.
We ate here as part of a tour and it wasn't a typical tour meal. My husband had the steak which was very flavorful and incredibly tender. I had the stuffed chicken which was a traditional Bogota dish. It was delicious. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful Columbian meal.
