PePPi PePPi - Bohle Plains

Went to Peppi Peppi for the first time tonight, and was so disappointed, we ordered the calzone for entree' basically just bread with the smallest amount of feta And possibly one slice of pepperoni in the entire entree', for main I ordered the lasagna and my partner ordered the pesto gnocchi, to which the waiter asked "who will be eating the lasagne" in which I answered I will be (female) I saw another customer had ordered the lasagna, and he's dish was twice the size of mine, I believe he gave me half the size of the normal dish as I am female, the other customers dish looked twice the size of mine, Pitty that... when we are both paying the same amount. Apart from that the food was terrible the lasagne was very small and very dry! The pesto gnocchi was dry as well and didn't taste fresh at all!! Very disappointed as I have been wanting to try Peppi Peppi for a long time. Definately won't be going back!! And for the price you pay, you can get much better elsewhere! Even la porchetta serves up better food than what we received tonight.

We have dined at this restaurant twice now. Great service professional staff that can not do enough for you not too mention the amazing food great chef. It is tucked away but once found you will be back. Can I say one thing though it just needs new dining furniture as existing a little shabby and tired. But this does not deter the excellent service and amazing Italian cuisine.

Visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner but found the experience a little disappointing. Food and wine prices are expensive and selections are limited. Wanted to order a variety of oysters but could only have a minimum of 6 which had to be exactly the same. There were 3 varieties - natural, kilpatrick and breaded. Pizza bread was delicious. Cannelloni needed more sauce.

Fantastic fettuccine marinara, loved that I could add or remove ingredients. Excellent bruschetta. Service was very friendly, ingredients were fresh and the food was served promptly. Will definitely return.

Unfortunately, we went on a night when there was a function in the restaurant. Not a big deal until they started using a microphone and we couldn't have a conversation as it was so loud. Two out of the four meals were good, the risotto and osso bucco. I wouldn't recommend the crumbed steak. Huge meal but I could hardly make out any steak just lots of crumbs and no gravy. Ham, chicken and pineapple pizza needs a lot more pineapple. Good to be able to take left overs home. A special thanks to our waitress, Cheyenne, who went out of her way to be helpful and friendly.
