Feedback gevenIt's like walking into a dark room when you enter. Our greeter seemed preoccupied. The food lacked any flavor. The macoroni was bland. The fish and chips over cooked. Hardly any flavor to the chicken. Used to love visiting this place but I won't be back.Very disappointed.
Service was slow even though restaurant wasnt crowded. Server reeked of cigarette smoke after I waiting for refill. Seems like I was waiting while he had a smoke break. The server also brought my bottled drink carrying it around the top of the bottle.Seriously? Plenty of employees were shattered about the restaurant. Poor management.
A few hours ago, I decided to dine at The Apples restaurant. Although I'm not one to usually complain, I feel compelled to share some of the issues I encountered during my visit. It seems that the restaurant could benefit from improved management or better communication among the staff. While our food arrived quickly, our waitress struggled to remember our orders and had to return to confirm them multiple times. When our meals did arrive, they were not prepared as requested. Additionally, we had to seek out another waitress to ask for utensils, which had not been provided with our meals. At the end of our meal, our waitress informed us that both managers had already left for the day and that she was taking responsibility for the lack of attention we received at our table. In the food industry, it's crucial for restaurants to ensure that their staff and management are functioning effectively. Poor management and staffing can significantly detract from a customer's dining experience.
We had a fantastic experience during our recent visit to Applebee's in Bowling Green, which far surpassed our visit from last year. Our server was both friendly and attentive, and our appetizers, drinks, and meals arrived quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. We also want to give a special mention to the new manager, Mandy, who took the time to personally greet us at our table. I highly recommend dining here; the food and service are both top-notch!
I ordered takeout from this restaurant, which is known for its double crunch shrimp. However, during my last three orders, I didn’t receive any cocktail sauce or slaw. I tried contacting a manager and was put on hold for eight minutes. When I called back, I was informed the manager was occupied with a customer. I explained my situation to the staff member on the line, who mentioned there was a new trainee doing their best. I questioned why the same mistake occurred three times in a row, and they acknowledged the issue but didn’t have a solution. I requested to speak with the manager, but was told they were too busy to guarantee a callback today. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable, and I will be taking my business elsewhere.
