I asked for it rare and it came out cool, but grey. So not seemingly very fresh. The purple rice in my dish and my Girlfriend's roots and Kyle “ bowel “ served on a plate was just out of the refrigerator cold. My blood orange old fashioned was nothing spectacular or even memorable. All in all it was just ok, which is a shame because it's a cool venue. Not worth the trip or the
The cocktails were outstanding--couldn't have been better. The food was fine--entirely edible, but nothing at all to write home about. The food was not at all at the level of the cocktails. Would definitely go back for drinks and maybe small plates. Would love to see the quality of the entrees rise to a higher level.
It took about 5 minutes or more for the front desk guy to actually try and set us because the hostess wasn't around. He seemed like he had to think about what f he should seat us or not. He put wood on the fire and stood around for a while and then decide to help us. The restaurant was a little chilly but the waitress and food was pretty good.
Great atmosphere Great food My wife and I celebrated our 28th anniversary Our server Sarah was a true gem She was authentic She was tentative Highly recommend The Barn for the ambiance The food the drinks and the overall experience
Took 20 minutes to be greeted. Everyone around us had eaten and was just talking. When we did order drinks that took another 20 minutes. Food prep took another 30 min. There wasn't anyone in the restaurant but us. Pretty disappointed considering we were there for Christmas Eve lunch. Food was very good but not sure I will be back because of service. The restaurant itself was cozy and rustic, which is why I was attracted to coming in the first place. I did tip over 20% because it was Christmas Eve but if it were just another day, not sure I would leave even 5%.
