I seek out small family joints and food trucks, and was quite excited to try Adelita’s.But, unfortunately, that waterlogged relleno served with cold watery beans and equally cold, tasteless, watery rice? Not just the least delicious or even edible meal I’ve had out in Boise, or worst tasting/presented Mexican food I’ve ever eaten, I think it was the worst meal that I’ve ever had, anywhere in the world? Including gas stations. I’ve had questionably aged random microwave meals that I would go for 100/100 before I’d pay for that again.Yikes.
I was so excited to try their quesabirria tacos, my friend always raves about them. I got the quesabirria taco plate with consome- the rice and beans were great! The birria had almost no flavor and wasn't as tender as other birria I have-there was very little meat in my tacos. The consome was very flavorful and probably one of my favorites.
Pastor burritto was pretty bland, good size, but bland. The jalapeño poppers were good.
Great food, authentic atmosphere, and nice people. I had the birria tacos and I honestly can't wait to go back for more. I actually want to try every birria item on the menu now. The restaurant is shared with a small specialty store.Parking: There is a very small shared parking lot out front of the store/restaurant.
This place is more than a restaurant. they sell unique items from Mexico...Pinatas for birthdays and others celebrate. the delicious of their foods are from the ground up and tasty. lets all begin to support small...local buisnesen?!
