Deathproof Coffee - Boise

I found this cafe to be quite spacious, with plenty of tables and seating available. The menu is straightforward, featuring a selection of pastries for sale. I tried their maple pancake latte, and I thought it was delicious!

I had a wonderful experience at this cafe! The coffee was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly. This was my first time visiting, and I was recommended to come here by Pastor Jim Evans from Heritage Alliance Church in Twin Falls, Idaho. Interestingly, it’s located just down the street from my favorite restaurant whenever I'm near Boise, which is Fiesta Chicken.

This is a lovely place to unwind. It's fairly new and has plenty of space for anyone looking to host an event. You could even hold a mini convention here! The coconut Italian soda is quite tasty, though they do add a bit too much ice for my liking. Overall, it's a great spot, and I hope they continue to thrive!

I sampled their Ethiopian drip coffee, which was smooth and mild with delightful berry notes. Additionally, I enjoyed an almond milk latte that was creamy and rich. I was relieved to find that the barista knew how to properly aerate the milk, avoiding the loud steaming noises I've encountered in other coffee shops where baristas lack this skill. They offer Wi-Fi, so it's a great place to work if you need to. What truly stands out about this place is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is eager to share all the details about the coffee they serve. You can also rent the space for work events, and they have a large separate area that hosts a variety of musical performances, complete with a stage, chairs, and a video screen. Plus, the restrooms are clean! I highly recommend this coffee shop and will definitely return on my next visit to Boise!

Deathproof is the gritty punk-rock venue and coffee bar that the Boise area has long needed. If you're looking to try unique and intriguing drinks from an eclectic menu, or enjoy live performances from local talent in a cozy atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit. Although it may be situated in a less-than-ideal location, the strip mall vibe adds to its character. Deathproof Coffee is a distinctive spot that deserves to be explored.
