Was excited after the other review to get some Mediterranean. Ordered a falafel gyro with tahini sauce, side salad, and dolmas. Dolmas were decent though it was weird they came hot(Is that normal? . Side salad was bitter. And the gyro they smashed the falafel up in to pieces so it was no longer crispy, and the tahini sauce was also bitter. Odd there was only lettuce on it and no tomatoes or cucumber. Pretty flavorless through and through, will not likely eat here again.
I am new to boise and have eaten on hunting for authentic and delicious Mediterranean. that is the place! tabouleh, dolmas, pita and falafel were all very delicious. the tahini sauce is also good, I guess with a vegan sose option. will come back in any case!
We called and picked up to go. Call was immediately answered, they were friendly and knowledgeable about vegan options. We did Al a Carte Falafel with Tahini sauce, Tabouleh, Lebanese salad and lentil soup. The falafel was slightly crunchy on the outside and Tahini sauce was good. The Tabouleh salad and the Lebanese salad needed a little more salt for my taste, but were good. The lens soup was creamy and beautifully spiced. The soup comes with wedge a lemon that really lights up the dish. I'd go back here. Updated by previous rating on 2023-03-09
I was just here once, maybe it was a fuke, but I ordered hummus and it was a strange runny texture. Perhaps this is the preference where the boss/owner/recept developer has learned to make hummus, but I love a good thick, smooth, creamy hummus. The taste was not better than the texture and I wouldn't go back. I got no chance to try other things on the menu, so there may be other good menu items or if there is a runny hummus that might be your place. The service wasn't great either.
