Mcdonald's - Boise

I frequently make a special trip to visit this McDonald's instead of choosing a closer option for fast food. The staff here are always very friendly and they never get my order wrong. I really love this location!

This is the worst McDonald's in Boise. The staff is incredibly lazy and inconsiderate. They didn't care at all about the customers. I couldn't even place a simple order through the drive-thru because the lobby was closed, and I had to wait 30 minutes in line.

Overall, the restaurant was clean. One of the employees did a good job and was very helpful. However, the person taking our order had a hard time being heard, and when I mentioned it, he didn’t try to speak up. He seemed upset by my comment. I didn't want to make his job harder, but we were struggling to hear him, and my husband ended up finishing the order. The employee accused us of wanting something we didn't ask for and told us to step away three times. Additionally, they messed up my daughter's order, and it needed to be corrected. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. I don't often go to McDonald's, but my daughter loves it, which is why I agreed to go. Unfortunately, it didn't change my opinion of the place.

Like all other McDonald's, this location has its pros and cons. We had a meal here and took advantage of the playground. The playground is decent in size—big enough to keep the kids entertained for a while, but not so large that it's hard to keep an eye on them. The food is standard for McDonald's, which means it's predictable and may not be the freshest. The air conditioning was warmer than I would have liked, but still within a reasonable range. Overall, the cleanliness is commendable for a place with heavy foot traffic.

The staff was unprofessional and disrespectful, making rude comments about customers while goofing around on their phones and chatting about their personal lives instead of focusing on their work. It took about 25 minutes for our food to arrive, even though there were only a few other customers, which didn't make sense given the delay. Additionally, every table my family and I tried to sit at was dirty. There were very few employees who seemed to be attending to their duties. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for us.
