Hawkins Pac-out - Boise

This is a No-Frills Burger-joint that tries to be nothing else. they have a relatiw simple menu that will fill them. the green chile burger is delicious, as well as all its breakfast burritos. because of their payout, it seems that the employees are well treated, which is a great attraction for me.

Burger was juicy and saucy, chicken sandwich was good but lacked flavor. Lots of fries and good price.

First time coming here and the food was sooo good! The amount of fries you get is crazy! Their burger sizes are big too. And of course the fry sauce was amazing! Definitely coming here again.

Really delicious burgers! They don't have gluten free buns, and the fries have gluten .. but we really enjoyed our burgers on a crunchy bed of lettuce. The burger tasted excellent.

Hawkins used to definitely be five stars, their quality and attention to detail seems to be lacking lately. Prices have gone up because of COVID, which is understandable. Recently I ordered breakfast potatoes with no gravy (just cheese) and, I'll admit, I hadn't expected my potatoes to be topped with ~cold~ cheese ?. The breakfast burritos also used to be straight up amazing but now cheese is cold and they aren't as good. Personally I hate cold cheese and it is a dead giveaway of a rush job and it tastes gnarly. Crossing my fingers the next visit will amaze me.
