Salty Girl Island Café - Bokeelia

This was our first visit, and we decided to have breakfast at 1 PM, which they offered. I ordered the Mexican street corn skillet with eggs and potatoes, but it didn't resemble the photos I'd seen on Yelp. There was barely any corn, and I couldn't see what was "Mexican street corn" about it, so I wouldn't order it again. They have a coffee bar, but my first two cups of decaf were not hot. When I went up to ask for more, they had to brew a fresh pot, which was hot—I'm not sure why the first two weren't. My partner had the cheesesteak omelette, which he said was good. Our server was quite busy, as it seemed she was the only one working. While we might consider returning for lunch, I think I’d prefer to go to the Perfect Cup in Matlacha for breakfast, as they truly excel at it, including their always-attended coffee bar. One last thing to note: the server mentioned they didn’t have grits. Given how many breakfast and lunch items typically include them, I found that surprising.

Best omelettes and sandwiches on the island and beyond . During season it's a hub and when everyone leaves for wet season and it's just us locals this is a gem to have comforting delicious food right up the street and very friendly service to the out of towners please be patient when frequenting our local businesses relax enjoy the experience and awesome food !

Crab Benny to.die.for. Street corn skillet delish! Food is so fresh, service is great, atmosphere is cute ocean vibe. Indoor or outdoor seating. Clean, bright and a lovely experience all around.

Excellent food and friendly, professional service . We've had both breakfast and lunch and never had a bad meal. They serve traditional food but also feature unexpected delights.

Absolutely fabulous breakfast. Don't find many places with this option, but they even had a fried Bologna on a Croissant sandwich! Highly recommended!!!
