You're going to pay restaurant prices for okay, not great food, For a family of 3, buying the 3 cheapermenu items plus drink, was over $65. If you can afford that, more power to you. Just be warned.
Solid food. Good rice. Seasoned well. Meats had a char that made them taste better. Many different types of people came in while we were there. Displayed art on walls. Good small business that you should try. We will be back!!
This is undoubtedly one of the best authentic Central Eastern restaurants in the west. eating is always fresh and tasteful. as I moved into the opposite a few months ago, I became a fan! the portions are also huge, so they are worth their money. the owners are really nice and friendly and the service is fantastic, I really can't find any mistakes on this place, even if I wanted. I like my eating on the spicy side so that the huh 911 is my personal favorite!
Solid food. good rice. well fed. meat had a dare to make her taste better. many different types of people came while we were there. art on walls. good little business you should try. we're coming back!
The pita and the pendulum my opinion about this Mediterranean restaurant has sung from 'good' to a necessity improvement '. pita zone is located in a bolingbrook strip shopping center at the intersection of weber rd hassert; in this area are a subway, dairy queen and otobo, our neighboring sushi spot. they could be better off the online order; when I placed an order in person for a gyro and wrap, it took 20 minutes before it was finished. that's a long time for a few pretty fast things. the road down, covo or Fill-a-Pita can whip this in 4-5 minutes, tops, for them. of these three places that offer gyros, pita zone 's was the cheapest $7.50) their were also the only one that pickles on the sandwich that my wife was 't a fan of), but otherwise the gyro was good. they can fries and a drink for $3.50 I liked the beef-shawarma wrap $8,50) that came with salat, tomato, gurke, wobbles, hummus and tahini sauce. the lens soup $4) tasted pretty good. I have meat combs $15) in the past, which were quite tasty and a decent worth. last visit I specifically asked for a page of yellow rice, but they gave me a page of fries - and they were not even good! I was really excited about the delicious Mediterranean rice that I even clarified yellow rice if they didn't hear me, but obviously it didn't slaughter. as I got my drink and went, I saw a few ants in the Soda Fountain bowl. not only a few, but a horde black ants. besides a rat who steals pizza, ants are one of the last things that a customer wants to see in a restaurant. TL;DR pita zone gets a 4/10 on the Kebab-o meter: despite some signs of promising good value, decent tasting eating), there were also many problems inaccurate order, long waiting times, bug visions. while I would like to support small businesses like this, pz’s mängel at this point have ruled out the conversation. COVO/Fill-a-Pita are technical chains, but at least they have 've get their share together and I'm ready to pay a bit more for this professionalism. could be worse.
