China Palace - Bolton

Very polite people food always amazing highly recommend

Don't know what's gone wrong here. The China Palace of old was impressive. Its now gone downhill fast. Ordered a Thai Red Chicken Curry and it was awful. The consistency of the chicken is awful. Really bad. It was obviously really cheap chicken. And it tasted like fish sauce . The Beef with ginger was just about edible but the beef was very chewy. Looked like really cheap beef. Gone downhill and I won't be going back .

Been here 6 times last time food awful threw all awsy

I ordered prawn toasts and 2 portions of dim sum at a cost of about £13. The prawn toasts and not nice and very overcooked. The dim sum fell to pieces when attempting to pick them and had been steamed with paper on the bottom !! It was 15 minutes to closing time so by the time we got home it was closed or I would have returned them. To be fair we have ordered the dim sum before and they have been excellent as other dishes we have ordered. I was very disappointed and wonder if I would give them another chance.

Appalling, inedible gloop! Ordered a chicken chow mein, a special chow mein and a chicken in ginger spring onion. All 3 dishes were bland and tasteless with an unusual, almost transparent, gloopy consistency. All 3 dishes were inedible and got thrown in the bin after just 2 bites. .... This used to be the best chinese takeaway in Bolton definitely not anymore! I will never order from here again!
