La Scala - Bolton

The entire evening was fabulous, from the appetizers to the desserts. The food was impeccably cooked with no complaints. The service was exceptional and the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely. It is only open from Wednesday to Sunday, so be sure to make a reservation. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great place for a family celebration. The food is very well cooked and vegetables served individually. The staff are polite and professional. Thoroughly recommended.

I haven’t been here in years so I was a little nervous about booking here, I didn’t need to be, had a little drink with my elderly Mum in the bar area first then we went to our table, excellent specials menu main menu, I ordered the seafood salad it was delicious. I definitely recommend La Scala and we will be back. Thanks guys

We visited with family and have been many times before April of this year. However, the man who seemed to be in charge and was order taker was the most arrogant and abrupt person I have met in a long time. It was like he was doing you a favour by you eating at the restaurant. The attitude to the waitresses, especially the younger ones was disgusting. He definitely needs taking down a peg or two. Putting him aside which should be outside, the food was excellent and all the other staff very accommodating. Please don’t be put off by Mr Rude, the food is worth going for.

Although it was our first time visiting this local restaurant, we decided to give it a try as we were passing by. The exterior and interior were not very impressive, as they appeared outdated. However, after looking at the menu (with prices slightly above average for the area), we found the food to be quite appealing and enjoyed by all. Despite the good food, I would only rate this place a 3/4 due to the unfriendly and sometimes rude staff. Because of their unacceptable behavior, especially towards my son who has a learning difficulty, we will not be returning. As someone who has worked in the service industry before, I know the importance of treating customers with respect. Even if the food is good, the service can make or break a dining experience.
