The place is always busy but the manager (I think he’s called Safraz) is always really attentive and makes sure we get a table as soon as possible. The sizzlers are huge and always really filling- they come with chips, rice and a choice of noodles or pasta- I went for noodles and was not disappointed. I had vegetable Manchurian to start and it was amazing, spicy and saucy just how I like it. The garlic naan was so fresh and tasty too. It’s the perfect place to go and eat on a cold winters night when you want a hearty delicious meal. Safraz manages the restaurant well and isn’t afraid to get stuck in and do the work as well as his staff. All the staff are really friendly and on hand to serve you more drinks, breads throughout. Will definitely be visiting again!
This is an amazing restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. We ordered Paneer Szechuan sizzler and the Veg Manchurian, which was the best we've had outside of India. The restaurant was well-managed and we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Safraz, who was very friendly and attentive. Despite being very busy, all customers seemed happy and enjoying their experience. Mr. Safraz, you are a great asset to Sizzling Palate and we can't wait to come back again, even if we have to travel far to do so!
This restaurant provides dishes that are overly oily and greasy, leading to a negative experience. The plain naan costs £3, which seems overpriced. The service is disappointing, as they seem to take advantage of their customers.
I do not recommend this restaurant at all. When we asked for salt on our fries, the server replied, "we don't put salt on the fries". Can you believe it? We had already started eating our meal and still had not been given any drinks until we had to ask. The food was expensive, tasteless, and to top it off, they don't even provide salt.
It was awful 3 of our palates had hair in it was horrible experience. The staff wasn't helpful they was rude when told them about it his response was it isn't my hair.
