Timeline Saloon Bbq - Bonduel

The bar food is mediocre at best and overall it's overpriced given the poor quality of cooking. The chicken sandwich featured dry chicken and a bun that was falling apart, served on a bed of soggy lettuce that looked like it had seen better days. The fries tasted like they were from last night, and when I checked the steamed vegetables, I found they were sitting in oil and hiding my wilted lettuce at the bottom of the salad. The bartenders seemed unsure; when I asked for a skinny margarita, they responded that they didn't have one. Well, obviously that's why I requested it—it's something you should be able to make. After I suggested a recipe, all I got was tequila soda. On the bright side, the servers were really nice, which is why I’m giving it two stars instead of one. After a $70 lunch, we left confused about what we had ordered and feeling like we had wasted our money.

Visit for the great atmosphere and excellent service. This is a must-stop spot along the highway. Don't miss the daily specials. Be sure to explore the museum featuring cars, bikes, memorabilia, and the antique mall. It's fantastic!

We went on Wednesday for lunch and the waitress recommended the meatloaf dinner. It was outstanding and the service was very good. Going back soon.

Best BBQ in town. I tried Kansas BBQ which is suppose to be one of the best. And I believe WI has the best BBQ at north. Check out the plate, we couldn't try the chicken they were out, but we were impressed with the brisket. Captain Morgan and Doc's Original are the best sauces!

Ate here on 7/20 with my husband and friends for lunch. Smells were great. Food was marginal. We had the Thursday rib special, the burnt ends sandwich and the brisket sandwich. We all upgraded to the side salad for an extra 2 (skip it... iceberg lettuce and NOT worth it). Ribs were meh. Not great, not terrible but . Brisket sandwich was chunks of dry fatty meat. It was missing the coleslaw as described on the menu. Lacked any taste and flavor. Would never recommend. Burnt ends were full of sauce. Hard to describe other than very disappointing. menu NOT clear that ice tea is not free refills. We paid for 3 teas and 5 refills... server never mentioned it, and gladly offered us refills. Imagine our shock. If you are used to good BBQ, this is not it.
