Been there a few times, green chili is sometimes good and hot. Until yesterday the pancakes are usually great and bring customers back. Unfortunately the quality and size of them have been drastically changed and I was very disappointed.
The breakfast is outdated adventure in the same breakfast for 40 years it's nasty it's disgusting the eggs are cheap to hash browns are cheap the green chili has no flavor the pork is okay but the green chilies nasty taste like cardboard the sausages are great the place needs a makeover it's disgusting and they got it outdated there they need a remake is they make tons of money there they're overpriced now by 3 bucks they're too expensive not enough room to eat in there it's August 10th I was in there on August 7th 2024 and I think they closed for the fair here in the closing but I think between the 15th and the 20th of August to come back September they always like to go spend their money at the state fair for stuff there that's better food than they serve that's how ridiculous they are the owners they dress like hillbillies like like homeless people they even look like homeless people to blend in so they don't know they have money yeah they go spend their money to for the places like the state fair hundreds of dollars traffic to Rich they're disgusting the owners are disgusting they're nothing but greedy greedy people looking like the homeless they try to blend in so they can just pour like us what a jokes there they got to be voted it with Southwest grill is the worst restaurants in Pueblo Colorado show me the cheapest eggs the cheapest potatoes the cheapest sausage and cheapest pork they buy the cheapest they could buy and that's what they do they got nothing but cheap stuff there then you $12 to $15 for breakfast they used to charge only 5 to 6 bucks just 10 years ago for that slop please please go spend your money on a better place this is not worth it
I’m editing my review due to a recent visit here which was 8/10/24. I understand inflation is big right now and so is wages, but my family had ordered 2 breakfast burritos and 1 kids breakfast burrito with 1 orange juice and 2 waters. Food was good but the total came out to $40!! Like seriously $40 for 3 burritos and 1 DRINK that does NOT get free refill. I’m all for supporting local businesses but that’s a little ridiculous. I could have went to Village Inn or Cracker Barrel for that price. Not even a year ago we could eat here for $30 or LESS. Now prices on the menu are similar or the same as IHOP or any major breakfast chain.. don’t know if I’ll be back after this.
The Pantry Restaurant has existed across the street from the Pueblo Regional Library. I should say that the Library is directly across Abriendo Ave from the Pantry, as this family owned business has been around for decades. The owner manager Shauna is a strong and compassionate person who has taken care of the breakfast and lunch needs of Pueblo citizens for a while. The menu is nice and varied. The ingredients are fresh. While the restaurant is old, it is clean as a pin and well maintained. I ordered the breakfast burrito. It was delicious and completely filling. The coffee was brewed, strong, and was not bitter, as I drink it plain. The staff had a positive attitude and were pleasant and civil to all the patrons. I would say that if you had the choice of only one restaurant to go to breakfast in Pueblo, you should choose Pass Key Restaurant.
