Sweet Melissa's Ice Cream Shoppe

This charming ice cream shop offers a fantastic selection of flavors. The ones I tried were absolutely delicious. They also sell t-shirts and hats. I can't wait to return and sample more flavors as well as their key lime pie. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Many of the reviews about this place ring true! The staff are consistently polite, friendly, and professional. I didn’t catch the name of my server, but she was lovely—tall with her hair styled in two pigtails. She was patient and kind throughout my visit. I ordered three scoops of ice cream: butter pecan, SpongeBob, and Bonita Beach Bum. On the downside, some reviews are accurate in noting how pricey this place is. Three scoops cost me $10.50, which felt excessive given the experience. The ice cream itself was decent, but definitely not worth that price. The butter pecan was satisfactory, while the SpongeBob had a birthday cake flavor that didn’t quite stand out. The Bonita Beach Bum, on the other hand, was enjoyable, especially with the various chunks mixed in—that one was probably the best value. I considered ordering a slice of key lime pie, but I felt I had already spent enough on the ice cream. Overall, while the service was excellent, the cost makes it hard to recommend.

The service here is the friendliest I've ever experienced! The frozen key lime pie is absolutely delicious—so darn good! And yes, they're open right now, even after the chaos caused by Hurricane Ian!

Nice big ice cream restaurant it has lots of flavours lots of dishes for creams milk shakes, sundaes etc it is busy and it's not cheap $9 for a milk shake staff are friendly and you can sit outside and have your lovely ice cream

Extremely popular, but the long line moves quickly. Abundant choices in flavors, so good! Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
