Au Chalet - Bonlieu

Our plans to have lunch at the helm the gentlemen on the road have been counter-scheduled, and a holiday weekend for Sunday lunch, I had no hope to find something good at the late hour (according to the French provincial standards) at 1:00 pm. When I called the restaurant, they were booked, but a table of 4 that had reserved for 12:30 had not yet appeared, so the charming lady of the house asked me to call back in 5 minutes to let him have the time to contact the missing part. When I recalled, she confirmed that we could have their table, and what a chance it was! From the moment we arrived, we were entitled to an extremely fast and courteous service, despite the fact that they had 2 huge tables celebrating special occasions and several other smaller tables already underway for their lunch. The food was irreproachable, some of the best calf ris I've ever had and the view was beautiful. an amazing surprise in the middle of nowhere in the jura, all at an excellent value for money. I'll do a duty to come back here, but I'll make sure to book first, because the people know clearly what joy they have here.

We live in the United Arab Emirates and we have the chance to have a house down the road to this charming family restaurant. Yes, the service goes up and down, and the menu has practically not changed for twenty years. That's why we keep coming back. It's just a traditional jura cuisine cooked with love. What difference can you get with the water?

A blend of traditional cuisine with a modern ingenious touch, with a salmon carpaccio and perch nets, absolutely incredible. the restaurant itself is not too big with a pleasant atmosphere. It's a highly recommended place to go for dinner.

Visiting the waterfalls and the lakes of the jura, stopped here for lunch, just because we were hungry. What a delicious surprise - gourmet dishes, in a spacious room with a magnificent view, good service. It's worth the time to get out of it.

The offers are exceptional. If you like eating well, go for a wonderful experience. We took the table d'hôte 4 services "the greedy" (including tarrine of duck with bits, poultry poultry Franc-comtoise, cheese tray and dessert). The service was very good, except that there was a new waitress who was not at all experienced but it was acceptable because it did not handle much in the room.
