Brauhaus Zum Gequetschten - Bonn

We went there during christmas market time, the place was full so waiters didn't really care about people coming. We got a table and we were told we could not order small beer, because of the christmas market they were only serving large beer (even though its tap beer) the food didnt look that good and was quite expensive together with a terrible service we decided to leave, really bad experience.

Situated at a nice little corner, this place reminds you of good old pub. The chairs outside give a more contemporary feel and the food is good. Goulash was very good and the main course was good as well. Better than some other fancy places around here in terms of German food.

I have visited this pub twice, first time we were left sitting for 10 minutes waiting for the waiter to return after he asked us if we were eating or drinking. We left and went round the corner to the much better Pendel. Today we thought we would give it another a chance. The service was a bit faster, about 5 minutes, but it was quite busy. The waiter got the order wrong and then over charged us. Will not be going back.

I do love this place. It serves basic German food a reasonable prices which is exactly why I wanted to go. It has both inside and outside seating. The service was a little slow this time but otherwise great.

I've been here wtih some friend during a nice end-of-day. Weather was perfect for outside sitting, so we enjoyed this place´s viewing of the street, and we made justice to its name "Zum Gequetschten" (something like "For chattering").Good variety on beer. Food is awesome, lots of options in typical food, and well prepared.
