Rincon de Espana - Bonn

Don´t go there! It looks like an harmless and actually quite pleasant place but in reality the staff is very unfriendly and we had 3 waiters serving us. None of them was really plesant . Tapas are kind of ok if you, for example, accept the fact that the calamares romana in total 6 on the plate... are frozen and re-heated in the microwave. The rabbit, the house specialty ! was dry, COLD and the greasy almond sauce was just good for covering the blandness of the dish.

I've been to this restaurant four times in three months when I lives in Bonn. We used to enjoy a lot go there, the tapas were really good and the environment was fun, with latin music. The staff was always friendly and carefully with us. When I come back to Bonn I'll back for sure!

Good atmosphere, friendly service and good food!!We had Calamares a la plancha with tomates, pulpo a la plancha, Fideua', Bolitas de bacalao e gambas.

Some of the service was friendly the older server not. We had the Calamari fritos, which was fried in a thick doughy batter that was slightly under cooked. Patatas Brava was not like we expected they were covered with a mayonnaise based dressing. The main entrees were pretty good, I had the Salmon a la Plancha which was a little pricey at 14,90 for a piece of salmon and a couple of pieces of lettuce and tomato on the side. My wife had the soup pescado which she enjoyed. Atmosphere is like a tavern/bar very casual not for a special night out. To sum it up, we felt like they didn't really care if people came back or not and that is why we wouldn't go back.

Dieses Restaurant ist ein hervorragendes Beispiel dafür, dass Wunsch und Realität im Gastrogewerbe oftmals weit auseinander liegen:Die Atmosphäre soll urig und rustikal gemütlich sein ist aber seit mehr als 20 Jahren schon nur noch versifft und abgeranzt. Der Chef oder Chefkellner meint lustig und ein Original zu sein, ist aber extrem unhöflich und arrogant. Er hat auch keine Probleme damit seine nicht vorhandene Professionalität seinen Gästen offen zu präsentieren.Die sonstigen Kellnerinnen scheinen alle studentische Aushilfen zu sein, sie geben sich zwar redlich Mühe sind aber recht inkompetent. Eine große Anzahl der bestellten Speisen kam erst gar nicht auf den Tisch Innen ist die Musik so laut, dass man sich nur schreiend unterhalten kann.Qualität und Geschmack des Essens war sehr durchwachsen Eine Empfehlung für alle die sich trotzdem hierhin verirren: die Rechnung am Ende genau prüfen !!!
