Downeast Studio - Boothbay Harbor

Just a warm experience. My wife and I stayed at boothbay,me for 3 nights, and made this cafe the start to our day all 3 mornings. The waitress was a pleasant woman who made you feel welcome. Then the food was great, and serving size was more than enough. Great breads! French toast was special! Thank you for hospitality. Greg

We arrived 10 minutes before closing, but were welcomed in. We had a delicious breakfast here, with great omelets! Good coffee, as well!

We ate lunch here on our first day. Get ready to climb they serve on 3rd floor only this time of year. We sat outside overlooking the harbor on a sunny day it was lovely. Fish sandwich with fries was delicious. The Caesar salad was just so so. Prices were moderate.

We had the chicken salad sandwich and BLT....fantastic! Just what we needed for a quick lunch. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This delightful café offers lovely views of the water and is conveniently located near the walking bridge. Like many establishments these days, they are short-staffed, but Cecelia—who handled hosting, cashing, serving, and problem-solving—remained gracious and composed, even under pressure. I hope management takes note of her efforts. Despite the current hiring challenges, her professionalism matched the quality of the food. The ordering and payment process is efficient, as you order at the counter before being seated. Although our breakfast was served on paper plates, we were seated surprisingly quickly, and the overall atmosphere in the café was incredibly enjoyable.
